Working Toward a Brighter Future for the Children in Sri Lanka
The Girls School in Kayts, in the northern Jaffna peninsula has 210 students.
The Clarendon Foundation provides a daily lunch for the children.
Tutoring classes are provided in Math, Science and English for students in grades 6 through 11.
Tutoring classes are also provided to Grade 5 students to prepare them for the national scholarship examination.
Ten former students are in the GCE Advanced Level. Tutoring is provided for these students in all subjects.
Shoes, uniforms and stationary are provided to those who need them.
